Credit Suisse Asset Management Names George Jamgochian As Head of New Relationship Management Division.

 Brinson, to head a new department focusing on client relationship management.

In this newly-created position, Jamgochian will direct a new division known as "Relationship Management" which will concentrate on providing strategic client service initiatives to 100 or so of CSAM's largest institutional clients. Jamgochian will report directly to Jim McCaughan, chief executive officer of CSAM/Americas.

In making the announcement, Jim McCaughan said, "Forming strategic relationships with large clients is one of the most promising opportunities for multi-product investment firms. Most recently, Jamgochian was with UBS Brinson where he directed account management and business development in New York New York, state, United States

 for the firm's global client base. Jamgochian implemented a new client relationship model at UBS Brinson, where account managers are responsible for all aspects of a client relationship, except investment decisions.

Prior to joining UBS Brinson, Jamgochian served as vice chairman and deputy chief executive officer of UBS Asset Management in New York. He also spent nine years as a managing director with UBS International Investment (UBSII) in London, where he developed new products and marketing strategies for the non-UK business of Phillips & Drew Fund Management under the UBSII name. He was instrumental in introducing the firm in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .
