Credit Suisse Appoints Laura Granger as Head of Small Cap Growth Equities for Asset Management.

NEW YORK -- Credit Suisse today announced the appointment of Laura Granger to its Asset Management business as a Managing Director and Head of Small Cap Growth Equities. In her role as lead portfolio manager, she will be responsible for the US Small Cap Growth Equities business.

Ms. Granger joins Credit Suisse from Oppenheimer Funds where she was a portfolio manager responsible for approximately US$1.5bn in assets under management. Most recently, she managed the Emerging Growth Fund, a small cap growth product, as well as the core small cap Discovery Fund. She was also the manger of the Emerging Technologies Fund until July 2005, when she became part of a team that managed the fund. Prior to that, Ms. Granger was the lead portfolio manager for small cap growth strategies at Fortis Advisors, managing both the Fortis Advisors Capital appreciation Fund and the Fortis Advisors Aggressive Series Growth Fund. Before that, she was a portfolio manager at General Motors Investment Managers and has also held positions at Dean Witter and McKay Shields. She holds a BS from Cornell University and is a CFA.
