Credit Suisse Appoints Keith "Kim" Schappert CEO of the Americas for Asset Management.

NEW YORK -- Credit Suisse announced today the appointment of Keith "Kim" Schappert as a Managing Director and CEO of the Americas for Asset Management. In his new role, Mr. Shappert will be responsible for the Asset Management business in the region.

Mr. Schappert was most recently the President and CEO of Federated Investment Advisory Companies, the investment management arm of Federated Investments, where he ran a business with more than USD 220 billion in assets under management. Prior to Federated, Mr. Schappert spent over 25 years at JP Morgan Investment Management, where he served in a variety of roles, including President and CEO. A former fixed income portfolio manager, Mr. Schappert has extensive management experience in the asset management industry, and a successful track record of developing and implementing growth initiatives, improving investment processes and performance, developing client relationships and growing assets under management.

Mr. Schappert will represent Asset Management on Credit Suisse's Americas CEO Management Committee. He will be based in New York and will report to David Blumer.
