Credit Suisse Appoints Jeffrey Halpern as Head of Market Risk Management for Alternative Investments' Multi-Manager Portfolios.

NEW YORK -- Credit Suisse recently announced the appointment of Jeffrey Halpern as Head of Market Risk Management for Multi-Manager Portfolios for Alternative Investments.

Mr. Halpern joins Credit Suisse's Asset Management business from Moore Capital Management, where he was Head of Risk Management. While there, he developed risk measurement processes to support the introduction of hedge fund strategies and new portfolio managers, instituted the firm's first concentration risk limits and limit enforcement processes, built relationships with clients and launched new client risk reporting tools. Prior to Moore Capital, Mr. Halpern was Vice President of AIG Trading Group in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he directed the quantitative research and development of risk management tools to hedge corporate F/X and commodity risks.
