As part of Prime Services offerings, Advanced Prime(SM) will give Hedge Funds efficient access to the multi-prime market beyond a single prime technology platform

-- Credit Suisse today announced the launch of Advanced Prime(SM), the market's first platform for hedge funds to efficiently access the multi-prime market and its most advanced capabilities. The new platform allows hedge funds to operate and grow their businesses without the constraint of a "single-prime" technology platform that restricts funds to only one prime broker.

"With this rollout we are again aiming to meet both the current and emerging needs of our hedge fund clients," said Philip Vasan, Global Head of Credit Suisse Prime Services. "The platform is designed to help our clients achieve new levels of efficiency and provide them with access to both the Credit Suisse global network and the power of the market."

The open architecture technology aggregates multiple prime broker feeds at either a third-party hosted site or within the client's environment, streamlining their technology infrastructure and support costs as Credit Suisse centrally provides functions core to most hedge-funds.

Advanced Prime(SM) incorporates expert consulting and implementation services on network design, process automation and business continuity. The technology platform includes:

* Multi-asset class, multi-currency order management system (OMS OMS - Opportunity Management System ) with real-time profit and loss capability

* Connectivity to execution management systems (EMS)

* Risk management and portfolio analytics engine
