Mid-America is marketing the integrated solution to 700 McDonald's franchises, enabling the restaurants to process electronic payment transactions faster than cash transactions.

PCCharge Payment Server(TM), a Windows(R)-based system that processes credit cards, ATM/debit cards and check guarantee services, integrates into other POS systems. The integrated system enables a more efficient process that records the electronic transaction like any other front-counter transaction. The integrated system eliminates the need to re-key payment information and reduces processing time, compared to non-integrated POS solutions with stand-alone modules that are not tied into the same system processing all of the restaurant's other payments.

The Mid-America/GO Software integrated product significantly reduces the time it takes to process a transaction, taking approximately three to five seconds for approved credit card authorization. The integrated system significantly reduces opportunities for operator error and automatically reads the amount due from the POS solution. The integrated solution also enables franchisees to increase sales and improve customer service.
