Atlanta-based Marketing Firm Expands Services and Operations Through Strategic Investment in Leading Film and Television Production Company

Atlanta-based Creaxion(R), one of the nation's fastest growing and most effective marketing firms, announced today it has acquired a significant minority stake in ImageMaster Productions(TM), one of Atlanta's top film and television production companies.

The deal allows Creaxion to expand its service offerings from advertising, public relations and event marketing to include film, television and radio production. The agreement gives ImageMaster an array of marketing services to offer its current client base and will enable the company to expand its staff and pursue additional business.

Terms of the agreement were not released, but as part of the deal, Pettit will join ImageMaster's board of directors. ImageMaster's president and CEO, Dan Johnson, will join Creaxion's board of advisors.

This is not the first time Pettit and Johnson have worked together. From 1988 to 1991 they were the investigative reporting team at WXIA-TV (NBC) in Atlanta. Between them, they have won more than 20 Emmy Awards. Most recently, the two teamed to produce the new television advertising campaign for Atlanta Gas Light Company. Pettit served as Creative Director on the campaign while Johnson directed and produced the commercials.

Since launching ImageMaster in 1994, Johnson has won a number of awards, including the 2001 Emmy Award for best director. ImageMaster specializes in commercial and documentary production, as well as television programming. ImageMaster's past and current clients include General Electric, Sea Island Company, The State of Georgia and CNBC. ImageMaster has offices in the Old Telephone Factory in Atlanta. The company will use a portion of the Creaxion investment to hire two more senior-level employees.

Creaxion's key clients include Atlanta Gas Light Company, Porsche Cars North America, CareerBuilder, iBill (Internet Billing Company), Inflow and Kids II. The Atlanta Business Chronicle recently ranked Creaxion among the "Top 25 PR Firms" in Atlanta and among the "Top 75 Advertising Agencies" in the city.

Along with its investment in ImageMaster, Creaxion announced it would be expanding operations in the Atlanta Financial Center. Construction on the Creaxion office expansion is scheduled to begin in January 2002 and be completed in early April. Creaxion currently employs twenty-one people and expects that number to grow to thirty next year.
