After I wrote the article which appeared in the January 2005 issue of the PSA (Professional Services Automation) An information system designed to organize, track and manage all opportunities, work, resources, costs, revenues and invoices to improve the productivity and efficiency of the workforce.  Journal, important changes have occurred. Nikon has now a set of colored filters (SJ-1, Cat. No, 4764) which fits the SB-80DX and the SB-800 electronic flashes.

The new i-TTL flash technology of the latest Nikon cameras (the D70, D2x, and the F6) is fully compatible only with the SB-800 and SB-600 flashes. Older flash units must be used in either the auto or the manual mode. Therefore, the macro flashes SB-21 and the SB-29 cannot be used in the TTL (1) (Time To Live) A parameter in a network packet that sets a time limit to its validity. In order to prevent an IP packet from propagating endlessly through the network, the value in the TTL field is reduced by each router.  mode with the latest Nikon cameras. This is one of the reasons why the digital D70 Nikon camera has complemented but not replaced my trusty F100 film cameras.
