Creative companies call DUMBO home.


Six marketing and advertising companies have taken residence in the Brooklyn waterfront community of DUMBO.

Coolbirth, Inc, Big Duck The Big Duck is a ferrocement building in the shape of a duck located in Flanders, New York, on Long Island. It was originally built in 1931 by duck farmer Martin Maurer in nearby Riverhead, and used as a shop to sell ducks and duck eggs.  Studio and Special Ops Media have leased space at 45 Main Street.  has moved from 10 Jay Street to 55 Washington Street The following streets in the United States are called Washington Street:
  • Washington Street (Alexandria), in Alexandria, Virginia
  • Washington Street (Baltimore), in Baltimore, Maryland, running near Johns Hopkins Hospital
, Robb D. Rice and York Group Business Solutions have moved into 55 Washington Street as well.

"We are extremely happy to welcome these companies to DUMBO," said Caroline Thebaud, associate director of leasing for Two Trees Management Co. "Advertising and marketing companies as well as architects, graphic design and new media companies continue to add to the strength of our innovative DUMBO business community."

Two Trees Management represented themselves in all of the deals. Paul Murphy Paul Murphy could refer to:
  • Paul Murphy (popular South East USA LARP and manga writer), a popular South East USA LARP and manga writer
  • Paul Murphy (musician and educator), a musician and educator
  • Paul Murphy (actor), an actor
 of Ingram & Hebron Realty represented Special Ops Media.
