Creative Women of Pinnacle Peak to Provide Volunteer Support at the Arizona Fine Art EXPO; 'ART, ART & MORE ART!' Fund-Raiser to Benefit CWPP Charities.

FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. -- The Creative Women of Pinnacle Peak, a 250-member organization dedicated to serving disadvantaged children, will provide volunteer support at the Arizona Fine Art EXPO to raise money for the more than 20 charities the group assists. In addition, CWPP will hold a fund-raiser, "ART, ART & MORE ART!" on Friday, Jan. 21.

As part of the benefit, several participating artists from the EXPO donated artwork to be used as raffle prizes. The wine and cheese party will run from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and several artists are scheduled to attend.

"We are really excited about partnering with the Arizona Fine Art EXPO and anticipate a long-term relationship with them," said Kathleen Kaplan, president of the Creative Women of Pinnacle Peak. "This is really a nice perk. It's truly like a partnership and we are very appreciative about that."

By combining their passion for volunteering and fund raising with our ability to bring together an extensive collection of world-class artists, not only do the charities benefit, but so do the patrons," said Judy Long, director of sales and event manager for the Arizona Fine Art EXPO.

Acting as a beacon of hope for disadvantaged individuals in the greater Phoenix and Scottsdale communities during the past 14 years, the Creative Women of Pinnacle Peak have raised and distributed more than $1.7 million to worthy organizations in the Valley since 1991. Some of the groups that have benefited from CWPP's generosity include Homeward Bound, HomeBase Youth Services, Greater Phoenix Youth at Risk, Waste Not, Thomas J. Pappas School, Family School, Florence Crittenton, Sexual Assault Recovery Institute, Upward Foundation, Gabriel's Angels and Lions Vision Center.

In recognition for their charitable work in the Scottsdale community, the Creative Women of Pinnacle Peak were selected by the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce for inclusion in the 2005 "History Hall of Fame."
