Creative Vistas, Inc. Names Executive to Lead DependableHome Initiative.

Paul Saabas Brings Extensive Background in Cable Systems and Security Products to Rollout CVAS' Networked Residential Video Surveillance Package

WHITBY, Ontario -- Creative Vistas, Inc., (OTCBB:CVAS), a leading provider of advanced video security and surveillance solutions as well as broadband-related services, today announced that it has named a new senior vice president, Paul G. Saabas, to oversee its new DependableHome initiative which will roll-out product and service lines led by a suite of video surveillance products and services for residential and small business customers. DependableHome is a branded offering from Creative Vistas' Cancable subsidiary. Cancable's customers include Rogers Cable (www.rogers.com) and Cogeco Cable (www.cogeco.ca).

Saabas, who began serving in the new position as of June of 2007, is responsible for all aspects of the DependableHome operation, which is currently in early-pilot and product build-out phase but is expected to transition to full rollout during the first half of 2008. DependableHome is an integrated suite of surveillance equipment and networked devices and services inside of a home that enables homeowners to monitor the security of their residences from remote locations. Cancable's deployment services currently provide over 450,000 customer home visits on behalf of its major cable customers. Cancable also provides its technical phone and sales support services to over 700,000 customer calls. The initial launch of DependableHome is to be targeted at these targeted house visits and calls.

Saabas has sales and operational management experience with a wide range of companies, including cable services (Rogers Cable) and security products and services (Honeywell Ltd.). Most recently, he was a principal of PMJ Consulting, a company that provided business planning and other strategic services to start-up companies. Among his clients was Bell New Ventures, the group created in 2006 by Bell Canada, Canada's largest communications provider, to initiate new products and services based on Bell Canada's wireless, Internet, voice and web-based capabilities.
