Creative Computers, Inc. Announces Closing of uBid IPO.


TORRANCE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 9, 1998--Creative Computers, Inc. ("Creative") (Nasdaq:MALL) announced today that its subsidiary uBid, Inc. (Nasdaq:UBID) (http://www.ubid.com) had closed its initial public offering (IPO (Initial Public Offering) The first time a company offers shares of stock to the public.
