Baton Rouge Clinic, AMC is an 80-physician multi-specialty medical clinic founded in 1949 that presently serves more than 150,000 patients throughout the southeast region of the country. The full service Laboratory Department currently performs in excess of 250,000 billable tests per year with growth projections expected to reach 500,000 tests over the next 5 years. Papp Clinic is a 45-physician multi-specialty medical clinic. The College of American Pathologists' certified laboratory at Papp Clinic currently performs over 200,000 billable tests at 5 different testing locations. Charles Wilson, Executive Director, stated "The installation of the CyberLAB II(R) Laboratory Information System and the supporting WebGateway applications will allow us to automate our laboratory environment; furthermore, by empowering our physicians base with Web based laboratory results that are available anywhere and anytime, we will ultimately improve our patient care."
