OxyPlate is a self-generating anaerobic anaerobic /an·aer·o·bic/ (an?ah-ro´bik)
1. lacking molecular oxygen.

2. growing, living, or occurring in the absence of molecular oxygen; pertaining to an anaerobe.
 plate made in the optical OxyDish that eliminates the need for bags, jars, and chambers. OxyPlate regenerates anaerobic conditions after being opened and closed several times, and is ideal for subbing from primary plates. Plates come reduced and ready to use. Shelf life is eight weeks at room temperature and 14 weeks refrigerated re·frig·er·ate
