The purpose of the drill program was to test the grade at depth and to check the indicated extension towards Mina La Reina La Reina (Spanish: "The queen") is a commune of Chile located in Santiago Province, Santiago Metropolitan Region. It consistently ranks in the top five communes with the best quality of life in the Metropolitan Region. , located 700 m to the east. Underground channel sampling outlined a high grade gold - silver zone giving average assays as follows:

Regrettably, diamond drilling Diamond Drilling is a highly specialized industry used for mineral exploration around the world. Most commonly using wireline and core bits with diamond encrusted matrix. To drill holes to max depths of twelve thousand feet, for the recovery of core used in verifying mineral  did not confirm the presence at depth or along strike of the high grade gold silver zone outlined within the Fenix Mine. Additionally, other veins Veta Blanca and Veta Llorona were intersected, but width and grade were also sub-economic and non-continuous. The Company has terminated the option agreement on the project.
