It does not involve excessive inflammation and may have no symptoms, especially at first. (OA). The double-blind, placebo-controlled study designed to capture the unique activity of Olivenol on RA and OA sufferers is currently in its early phase and is expected to conclude in the spring of next year. Approximately one hundred RA and OA patients aged 50 to 75 will be involved in the eight-week long study. Olivenol is Hayward, CA-based CreAgri's formulation of olive polyphenols extracted from the pulp of organic olives. Olivenol contains Hidrox[TM], which is the company's proprietary ingredient rich in hydroxytyrosol, a natural antioxidant antioxidant, substance that prevents or slows the breakdown of another substance by oxygen.
