"Cray develops and manufactures products in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, in England, and in Denmark, and ships its products around the world," Sullivan said. And the cost of products we supply to our counterparts in Europe will drop as well," he said.

levels the playing field for Cray in international markets. "As an international supplier, we are sometimes subject to tariffs from which our competitors are exempt," he said. "This aspect of GATT gives us the same advantages others now enjoy."

Sullivan pointed out that Cray's worldwide operations will become simpler, because GATT simplifies customs procedures. "When you are moving hundreds of millions of dollars of equipment around the world, customs delays are inevitable," he said.
