Crash woman left fighting for her life.

A WOMAN is fighting for her life after a crash on a busy dual carriageway.

West Midlands Ambulance Service The West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust is the authority responsible for providing NHS ambulance services in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Warwickshire, West Midlands, and Worcestershire in the West Midlands region.  say the woman "suffered multiple, critical injuries" after a collision between two cars on the A34 at Aston Lodge, between Stafford and Stone, just before 5.10pm yesterday.

A man, in his 30s and from Stoke, who was in the second car suffered suspected rib fractures and other seat belt injuries and was taken to Stafford Hospital.

Meanwhile, a woman who died following a crash on the Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove was expected to be named today.

The woman, who has not been named, was driving a grey Nissan Micra which careered off the road and hit a tree.

She was taken to Selly Oak Hospital but she died a short while later.
