 vehicles had fainted at the wheel after drinking Coca Cola, a court was told yesterday.

Galway District Court heard that mature student, David Colleran, 27, from Lower Salthill, Galway, suffered the attack after swigging from a bottle of Coke.

Two motorists sitting in the cars Colleran crashed into said they had noticed his head was on his shoulder and he appeared to be asleep before the impact.
