Crash sparks rush-hour chaos.

Byline: By Tony Deeley

RUSH-hour traffic was thrown into chaos today after a multiple crash blocked a Midlands motorway, causing huge tailbacks.

Thousands of people across the region were late for work as a result of the smash, which involved five cars.

The accident happened on the south-bound section of between Junctions 10 and 10A at Walsall just before 6.30 am.

All three lanes of the motorway were blocked, causing lengthy tailbacks.

Traffic was delayed for up to half an hour but no-one was hurt.

A spokeswoman for the Highways Agency said the accident led to a sevenmile queue Pronounced "Q." A temporary holding place for data. See queuing, message queue and print queue.
