Crane Co. Announces Third Quarter Dividend.


STAMFORD, Conn. -- Crane Co., a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products, today announced its regular quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share for the third quarter of 2009. The dividend is payable on September 11, 2009 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on August 31, 2009.

Crane Co. is a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products. Founded in 1855, Crane provides products and solutions to customers in the aerospace, electronics, hydrocarbon hydrocarbon (hī'drōkär`bən), any organic compound composed solely of the elements hydrogen and carbon. The hydrocarbons differ both in the total number of carbon and hydrogen atoms in their molecules and in the proportion of hydrogen  processing, petrochemical, chemical, power generation, automated merchandising, transportation and other markets.
