Cramer Wins Major Contract with Essent Kabelcom; Netherlands Cable MSO Marks 50th Customer Win for Global Leader in Inventory Management Solutions.

Cramer Systems announced a major new contract to provide its award-winning inventory management solution to Essent Kabelcom BV - the 50th customer for Cramer, the global OSS Oss (ôs), city (1994 pop. 62,141), North Brabant prov., S Netherlands; chartered 1399. It is a significant industrial center. Manufactures include meat products, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electrical equipment, and metalware.  leader. Essent Kabelcom is The Netherlands' second largest cable MSO (1) (Multiple System Operator) Typically refers to a cable TV organization that owns more than one cable system, but it may refer to an operator of only one system. , with over 2.0 million customers.

Cramer's centralized inventory management solution will replace multiple inventory systems at Essent Kabelcom, providing a single, continuously updated view of all network assets across a diverse array of technology and service platforms. Accurate data on network assets improves operational efficiency and financial performance by speeding service provisioning, eliminating errors in service delivery, and ensuring informed decisions on capital expenditures.

From the end user perspective, Cramer will be a vital competitive tool for Essent Kabelcom, boosting customer satisfaction via faster service delivery times, rapid fault isolation and service restoration.

AtosOrigin, a strategic Cramer partner, will implement the solution. When deployed, Cramer will support a variety of technologies and services, including SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) The European counterpart to SONET. See SONET.
