Dr. Horobin has more than 20 years of pharmaceutical drug development experience in multiple therapeutic areas, with a focus on oncology and a particular interest in the development of combination strategies. Her management experience includes executive positions in clinical development, marketing and general operations with both public and private companies in the United Kingdom, France and the United States. Dr. Horobin is currently the Director of Nascent Pharmaceuticals, a member and former President of the Boston Chapter of the Healthcare Businesswoman's Association (HBA) and a Director of the acclaimed youth chorus, Boston City Singers. She was formerly Dr. Vice President, Oncology at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer (now Sanofi Aventis) and Chief Operating Officer at CombinatoRx Inc. Dr. Horobin qualified in medicine from the Victoria University of Manchester, England and additionally gained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK, as well holding the Diploma of Pharmaceutical Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians in the UK. He was formally the Executive Vice President & CFO of Boston Financial Data Services, Inc., a mutual fund transfer agent company. * James Coppersmith: Coppersmith is Chairman on the Board of Trustees at Emerson College.
