Cramer Signs Landmark Licensing Deal for BT's 21CN; Massive Software Sale Raises the Bar for OSS Software Industry.

LONDON & WASHINGTON -- Cramer today announced a landmark multi-million pound contract with BT. Under the terms of the agreement Cramer will supply BT with its full suite of telecom operations and network management software. The agreement affirms Cramer as one of BT's strategic enterprise application OSS partners alongside Amdocs/Clarify, Siebel, BEA, Oracle and Geneva.

It also sees Cramer confirmed as one of the key software applications supporting BT's groundbreaking 21st Century Network initiative, announced in June 2004. That initiative will see BT transform its entire circuit-switched infrastructure into a single "converged" IP core network.

The man with overall responsibility for delivering 21CN's information systems transformation, BT Wholesale CIO Phil Dance said: "Cramer is now integral to the success of BT in delivering on its 21CN plans. We would not be making this sort of commitment unless we were convinced of Cramer's long term vision, and ability to deliver."

Cramer is providing a single, unified solution that ensures an integrated, cost-efficient and more profitable approach to the challenges of operating a large, complex, global network. BT customers are expected to benefit from Cramer's ability to deliver services accurately and on time, and to drive new technology and service innovations speedily to market.

Cramer software will support both BT's domestic and global network operations, across all its major operating divisions including BT Wholesale, BT Retail, and BT Global Services.

It also raises the bar for what commercial OSS solutions are expected to deliver, while opening new opportunities for further business with BT in the future.
