Cramer Hires Former Amdocs Duo to Head US Sales; Experienced Sales & Pre-Sales Team To Sell Business Value of Back Office Automation.


WASHINGTON -- Cramer, the leading independent provider of telecom Inventory Powered Automation solutions, today announced two new hires at the top of its US Sales organization.

Kelly Connery is appointed as VP Sales for the Americas and Nelson Veiga joins leading Sales Engineering. Both were formerly with Clarify and then Amdocs, where they jointly helped create one of the industry's most successful sales-driven organizations.

At Amdocs, Connery headed sales across the Americas for the company's customer relationship management, billing, order management and mediation mediation, in law, type of intervention in which the disputing parties accept the offer of a third party to recommend a solution for their controversy. Mediation has long been a part of international law, frequently involving the use of an international commission,  product lines. Veiga was responsible for the global Amdocs-Clarify Sales Engineering organization. Under their leadership, Amdocs won major contracts in accounts that included Cingular, SBC (1) (SBC Communications Inc., San Antonio, TX, www.sbc.com) A large, national telecommunications company that grew from a multitude of local and regional companies, including Southwestern Bell, Pacific Bell and Nevada Bell, into a single, unified brand by 2002. , Sprint, Nextel and Brazil Telecom.

Appointment of the new sales executives coincides with Cramer's appointment of Vitria, Oracle and Citicorp veteran John Philpin as Chief Marketing Officer, leading Cramer's worldwide marketing effort (see separate story).
