Cramer Accelerates Growth with T-Soft Acquisition; Acquisition extends company's leadership position in OSS to deliver best-in-class discovery solution.

LONDON -- Enterprise OSS software leader Cramer today announced that it has acquired the assets of T-Soft, the leading provider of network data collection and analysis software for the telecommunications industry. The acquisition is evidence of Cramer's continued growth and product portfolio expansion, and solidifies the company's leadership position in delivering a best-in-class OSS solution for next-generation networks and services to Tier 1 operators.

The T-Soft solution discovers network infrastructure and maintains a live connection to network resources that reflects actual network configuration. The solution delivers a comprehensive set of productized adaptors that will integrate with Cramer's data synchronization product, Cramer SyncEngine. The integration of T-Soft and Cramer products offers customers a powerful, pre-integrated solution to discover and reconcile network and inventory data to accelerate deployment and support assurance of next-generation services. The T-Soft solution will be renamed Cramer DiscoveryEngine.

Improved TCO 

The pre-integration of DiscoveryEngine with Cramer's existing OSS platform brings significant benefits to customers of both Cramer and T-Soft. By deploying expanded functionality on a single platform, carriers will reduce OSS complexity, shortening deployment times and lowering total cost of ownership. The ongoing development of DiscoveryEngine within the Cramer product roadmap will further streamline the OSS platform and provide greater economies of scale for customers.

Converging the OSS

The acquisition demonstrates the potential of Cramer's transaction-oriented inventory platform to converge previously standalone OSS applications in a single architectural framework. The integration of new OSS products around a common inventory core provides Cramer with a robust mechanism for the addition of new products to its portfolio, eliminating many of the risks inherent in integrating different technologies.

DiscoveryEngine is available for immediate sale. Integration with the Cramer suite is planned for later this year.
