Crain Communications Inc has a major ownership in the building. The move allows for implementation of a long-term real estate plan for the Crain Communications world headquarters and is an opportunity to consolidate its Detroit-based employees into one facility. "Our growth in recent years has filled our current building locations on Woodbridge and Jefferson Avenues," said Crain. "It has been our long-term goal to combine all of our employees in one location and this move allows us to address these space needs." The company has moved approximately 250 of its Detroit-based employees to Brewery Park including its publication and administrative staffs. It plans to move its circulation and customer service department employees to the new building over the next 24-36 months.
