Craig Silver Joins VLSI Libraries Incorporated as Vice President of Strategic Relations; Industry Veteran to Expand Strategic Semiconductor Supplier Relationships for Intellectual Property (IP) Provider.

, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 2, 1996--VLSI Libraries Incorporated, a leading provider of intellectual property components to the semiconductor industry, today announced that industry veteran Craig Silver has joined the company as vice president of strategic relationships.

Silver will report to Dan Rubin, vice president of worldwide sales. Silver's primary focus will be the development of strategic relations with key semiconductor partners.

"Partnering with the leading semiconductor suppliers has always driven our business and product directions," stated Dan Rubin. "Craig's extensive semiconductor background will be a real asset in expanding these relationships. We are thrilled to have him join us."

Mark studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama 1994-1998 with Eric Crees, Simon Wills and Peter Gane. During this time he became principal of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra.

Silver brings over 20 years of experience to the job. Silver joins the company from Viewlogic Systems, Inc., where he was director of ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) Pronounced "a-sick." A chip that is custom designed for a specific application rather than a general-purpose chip such as a microprocessor.  vendor relations. Prior to Viewlogic, Silver was with Sunrise Test Systems, Toshiba America Electronic Components, and RCA See RCA connector and video/TV history.  Semiconductor, where he held various marketing roles.
