Craig North (1956-2006).Dancer, choreographer, and teacher Craig North (see "Brave New World Brave New World Aldous Huxley’s grim picture of the future, where scientific and social developments have turned life into a tragic travesty. He was a member of the Larry Richardson Dance Company in the 1980s, and performed and choreographed musical theater road shows of Brigadoon and My One and Only. North worked simultaneously as artistic director for Music Theatre North at SUNY SUNY - State University of New York Potsdam and taught dance at Wagner College Wagner was recently declared by the Princeton Review 2008 366 Best Colleges as having the 2nd best college theater in the nation. The 2008 Review also named it among the top 10 in "College with the Most Beautiful Campus. on Staten Island Staten Island (1990 pop. 378,977), 59 sq mi (160 sq km), SE N.Y., in New York Bay, SW of Manhattan, forming Richmond co. of New York state and the borough of Staten Island of New York City. for 10 years. When he could no longer perform, he remained closely connected to the art by writing about dance, continuing to choreograph for several dance schools on Long Island, and adjudicating at the American Dance Awards and Dance Masters of America. |
