Craig Morgan, Neal McCoy and Jack Daniel's Team Up for USO Benefit Concert in NYC; CMA Awards Week Event to Support the ''Operation USO Care Package'' Program.

LYNCHBURG, Tenn. -- Country stars Craig Morgan and Neal McCoy will join up with Jack Daniel's for a special USO "Toast to the Troops" benefit concert at B.B. King's on November 12th . The concert is part of the "Country Takes New York City" week of activities in New York City leading up to "The 39th Annual CMA Awards" broadcast live from Madison Square Garden on CBS Television on November 15 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET).

Prior to the concert, USO volunteers, members of the military and their spouses will be collecting special "toasts" to the troops in downtown Manhattan near B.B. King's. The "toasts" will be included in USO Care Packages that Morgan will personally deliver when he travels with the USO to visit the troops later this year.

All net proceeds from the concert will go to the USO. The Care Packages include an assortment of items service members have specifically requested, such as disposable cameras, prepaid international calling cards, toiletries, and sunscreen. To date, more than 700,000 Care Packages have been distributed to our troops overseas and at home.

Morgan, whose current single, "Redneck Yacht Club," marks his second #1 hit this year, following "That's What I Love About Sunday," is an 11-year Army veteran who served in Operation Just Cause and completed tours in Panama and Korea.

"I know what it's like to be a long way from home serving your country and how much a care package like this can mean," Morgan said. "Jack Daniel's and the USO are working to make sure that our soldiers get not only some basic necessities but also personal messages from the home front, and I'm proud to be a part of their efforts."

McCoy, a multi-platinum and award-winning country music dynamo whose current radio hit "Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On" is the first single from his new album, "That's Life," has been on nine USO tours, including several to Iraq.

McCoy commented, "Many of our troops in Iraq have been away from home for a long time and I've seen firsthand how much a personal message or package from home can mean to them. I've got to hand it to Jack Daniel's for organizing this. I know these 'toasts' and packages will put a lot of smiles on a lot of faces."

The USO/Jack Daniel's "Toast to the Troops" benefit concert at B.B. King's in Times Square will begin at 8:00 p.m. on November 12th. Special "toasts" will be collected near B.B. Kings from 4:30-7:30 p.m. A limited number of tickets are still available through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com. The event will also be broadcast live on XM Satellite Radio.
