The new album will be heralded by the release of its first single, "What's Your Flava?", co-written by David and produced by hot newcomers Marshall and Trell (AKA the remix team operating under the Ignorants moniker (1) A name, title or alias. See alias.

The companion video for "What's Your Flava?" -- shot on location in the Czech Republic's capital city, Prague, and directed by Little X -- features David in a cinematic send-up of one of his favorite tales, the fable of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."

Like the book and movie versions on which the storyline is based, the video traces the journey of four "contest winners" visiting a mythical mastermind (played by David) for a guided tour guided tour guide nvisite guidée;

 of his factory.

But, instead of candy, guests in Craig David's world are treated to a guided tour of a music factory -- one which features, among other things, cages full of cash, lush purple bedrooms, and "Oompah-Loompah" girls dressed in white cat-suits and sunglasses.

On "SLICKER THAN YOUR AVERAGE", David once again combines elements of R&B, hip-hop, pop, electronica, and rock into an innovative, effervescent ef·fer·vesce

In addition to Marshall and Trell, the album finds David working with such other ground-breaking producers as Soulshock & Karlin (hailed by Arena magazine as "probably the best R&B producers in the world"), and Craig's longtime studio collaborator Mark Hill.
