Craig A. Streem joins PaineWebber as vice president and director of investor relations.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 1995--Craig A. Streem has joined PaineWebber Inc. as Vice President and Director of Investor Relations Investor relations

Johnston, Director of Corporate Communications Corporate communications is the process of facilitating information and knowledge exchanges with internal and key external groups and individuals that have a direct relationship with an enterprise.  for PaineWebber Inc.

Streem will be responsible for managing the firm's relations with the investment community and will work closely with the Finance and Corporate Communications departments to ensure consistent communication of the firm's objectives and strategies to all constituencies.

"Craig has a unique combination of skills, derived from extensive experience in investor relations and a background that includes corporate reporting, media relations and developing corporate strategy," said Johnston. "He'll make a significant contribution to our financial and corporate communications efforts, and we're delighted that he's joined our team."

Streem, 45, has spent 12 years at the American Express American Express (NYSE: AXP), sometimes known as "AmEx" or "Amex", is a diversified global financial services company, headquartered in New York City. The company is best known for its credit card, charge card and traveler's cheque businesses.  Company where he held several positions, including Vice President of Investor Relations, Director of Foreign Exchange, and Vice President of National Accounts for American Express Travel Related Services Co.

Most recently, Streem was Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Secretary for National Media Corp., a consumer products marketing firm specializing in direct response television programming. His responsibilities included acting as principal spokesman to the investment community and the media, and formulating corporate policy and communications strategy as a member of the firm's Executive Management Committee. In his role as Corporate Secretary, Streem was responsible for ongoing contact with the Board on company-related matters, and maintaining relations with the New York Stock Exchange New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)
