Cradle Adds Senior Engineering Executive; Industry Veteran Satchit Jain Named Senior VP Hardware Engineering.

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Cradle Technologies, Inc. a pioneer in high-performance multiprocessor DSP (1) (Digital Signal Processor) A special-purpose CPU used for digital signal processing applications (see definition #2 below). It provides ultra-fast instruction sequences, such as shift and add, and multiply and add, which are commonly used in math-intensive  platform solutions for real-time multimedia, today announced that Satchit Jain has joined the executive management team. Mr. Jain will drive all silicon hardware engineering at the company and report directly to President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Arthur Chang.

"We are extremely pleased to attract someone with the caliber of design and management expertise as Satchit," said Mr. Chang. "This management addition, coupled with our recent CT3600 product launch, positions us extremely well to execute on our commitment to deliver compelling, scalable high-performance DSP solutions for multimedia with initial emphasis on video surveillance."

In addition to Mr. Jain, Cradle Technologies has already attracted an impressive array of industry professionals. Cradle's management team hails from leading companies such as IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) , Intel, Texas Instruments See TI.
