Craddock double sinks the Trotters.

Teenage striker Tom Craddock Thomas "Tom" Craddock (born 14 October 1986), is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Middlesbrough, despite starting out his football career as a defender.  scored twice as Boro's youthful reserve side recorded a convincing 3-1 win against Bolton Wanderers last night.

, who made his senior debut for Boro at Sporting Lisbon last week, also netted in the match, which was played at Preston.

 playing up front following his recent senior run-outs, were the better side from the start, though the first half finished goalless.

Boro almost made the breakthrough within seconds of the restart when Lee Cattermole hit the post with a low drive.

But Boro broke through in 49 minutes following a superb run from Jason Kennedy, who set up Craddock for a tap-in.

Ten minutes later Christophe Lemaire, Craddock and Graham combined for Johnson to score.

James Sinclair reduced the arrears but Boro completed the scoring when Craddock finished off a through ball from Jonathan Grounds.

There were several fine performances, Kennedy impressing in midfield and Seb Hines and David Wheater strong in defence. Team:
