Cozzi Cozzi is a name that is derived from Italian heritage and origin, most of the families with this name are located in Italy (Italia) others that have migrated into America in the 1900s live in the eastcoast in the states of: New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, , Universal Scrap Set Up Joint Venture

Initially, the new venture will shred and process aluminum scrap for shipment to foundries, smelters and refineries.

The new company, UNICO Unico is a technology transfer organisation that represents the Technology Exploitation companies of UK Universities. It was founded in 1994.

UNICO's website states that "It provides a forum for exchange and development of best practice.
 Recycling, Inc., Chicago, will buy, process and sell aluminum scrap, and shred aluminum for customers for a tolling fee.

Universal Scrap Metals president Philip L. Zeid said the joint venture is a perfect fit.

"We're taking the scrap processing expertise of Cozzi, and our expertise in nonferrous metals, creating a formidable processing and marketing venture," he said. "The need exists and the opportunities for growth are many."

Cozzi said he was confident that UNICO will soon be processing at least 100 tons of aluminum a week. He also expects the venture to expand into other nonferrous metals.

Cozzi said he was confident that metal processor in the Midwest, processing 70,000 tons monthly at five facilities in the Chicago area. The company recently acquired additional facilities in Pittsburgh and Milwaukee.

Universal Scrap Metals, one of the largest nonferrous scrap metal dealers in the Chicago area, processes and markets all types of industrial scrap metals.
