Cox Interactive Media Promotes Stu Turner to Site and Marketing Manager of LAinsider.com.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 2000

Cox Interactive Media (CIMedia) announced today that Stu Turner has been promoted to site and marketing manager for LAinsider.com, the newest city site in the CIMedia network. The announcement was made by Keith Greer, CIMedia regional general manager.

LAinsider.com launched in August 2000. Produced by a staff of Internet veterans based in CIMedia's Marina del Rey Del Rey may refer to:
  • Del Rey, California, a census-designated place in Fresno County, California
  • Del Rey, Los Angeles, California, a small district in the west side of Los Angeles
  • Del Rey (band), an indie rock band
 studio, the site is dedicated to helping busy Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  residents better manage their lives, by saving them time and money.

"Stu played a critical role in the successful launch of LAinsider.com, and is ideally-suited to lead our LA County team," said Greer. "His extensive new media experience and focus will help build a local site that truly serves its community."

In addition to his responsibilities at LAinsider.com, Turner currently writes for the "Cool Websites" channel of TipWorld.com. Prior to joining LAinsider.com in April 2000, Turner was marketing and promotions director for KFI-AM-640, a Cox media property in Los Angeles. In that capacity since 1998, he directed media buying, public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  and event marketing for the largest talk radio station in the country.
