Cox Interactive Media Promotes Stephen Becker to Vice President of Field Operations, Names New Regional General Managers.

Organizational Changes to Complete Transitions to Network Operations

Cox Interactive Media (CIMedia) today announced a new regional structure to manage its field operations. Stephen N. Becker was named vice president of field operations and will lead the new group. The announcement was made by Scott Whiteside, vice president and chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

 on a series of organizational changes designed to facilitate our transition to a coordinated network of local sites," said Whiteside. "This field operations group will focus on increasing network efficiencies, enhancing field collaboration and developing product improvements that will ultimately benefit our network affiliates and end users."

Studio site managers will now report to four newly created positions called regional general manager. The new regional general managers will report to Steve Becker and are:

          --  George deGolian, formerly general manager of CIMedia's
            Atlanta Internet studio. deGolian will be responsible for
            CIMedia studios in Charlotte (GoCarolinas.com), Atlanta
            (AccessAtlanta.com), Orlando (InsideCentralFlorida.com),
            West Palm Beach (GoPBI.com) and Miami (SoFla.com).

          --  Keith G. Greer, formerly general manager of CIMedia's
            Southern California studios. Greer will now manage studios
            in San Diego (SanDiegoInsider.com), Orange County, Calif.
            (OCnow.com), Los Angeles (LAinsider.com), San Francisco
            (BayInsider.com) and Seattle (SeattleInsider.com).

          --  John Triplett, most recently general manager of CIMedia's
            Phoenix studio. Triplett will head up studios in Phoenix
            (AccessArizona.com), Las Vegas (AccessLasVegas.com),
            Hampton Roads (GoHamptonRoads.com), Fairfax (allnva.com),
            Pittsburgh (RealPittsburgh.com) and Dayton
            (ActiveDayton.com).

          --  Tim Williamson, previously general manager of CIMedia's
            New Orleans studio. Williamson will be responsible for
            studios in New Orleans (InsideNewOrleans.com), Austin
            (Austin360.com), San Antonio (SanAntonio360.com), Oklahoma
            City (AccessOKC.com), Tulsa (DiscoverTulsa.com) and Omaha
            (DiscoverOmaha.com).

He began his career with Cox Enterprises at the Austin American-Statesman in 1980, holding positions ranging from assistant city editor to sports editor, news editor and features editor. Triplett has won numerous national and regional awards during his career including being honored for one of the best sports sections in the U.S. by the Associated Press (Austin American-Statesman, 1991). Tim Williamson, formerly general manager of CIMedia's New Orleans studio, also served as site development manager for CIMedia's Pittsburgh studio. In those capacities, Williamson headed up the launch of both RealPittsburgh.com and InsideNewOrleans.com. Prior to joining CIMedia, Williamson founded Auducom Productions, a consulting firm that provided video marketing strategies for a variety of hospitality accounts and Fortune 500 companies. Williamson was instrumental in the development of the Atlanta-based Web site, Virtual Atlanta. He was also an integral part of the management team that built Infovision, a television and video marketing company that produced TV infomercials. A New Orleans native, Williamson holds a degree in finance from Tulane University.
