Cox Interactive Media Promotes Ken Womack to Studio Manager for AccessAtlanta.com.

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 27, 2001

Cox Interactive Media (CIMedia) announced today that Ken Womack has been promoted to studio manager for AccessAtlanta.com, CIMedia's flagship city site.

The announcement came from Tom Bates Tom Bates (born February 9, 1938) is a California politician, currently serving as the Mayor of Berkeley, California.

He is married to Loni Hancock, a former mayor of Berkeley who currently represents the 14th District in the California State Assembly.

Womack joined CIMedia in 1997 as a content producer for AccessAtlanta.com. In 1998, he was named site manager for yall.com, a former CIMedia specialty site. After that, he served as the project manager for CIMedia's LookSmart launch, leading a team of database producers who were responsible for the build out and integration of the search engine into the CIMedia network. He then returned to AccessAtlanta.com, serving first as senior producer, then content manager, before becoming studio manager for the city site.

Womack was formerly a staff writer and editor for the Atlanta Business Chronicle, a weekly business newspaper in Atlanta, Ga. He holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Louisiana State University Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, generally known as Louisiana State University or LSU, is a public, coeducational university located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and the main campus of the Louisiana State University System. .
