Cox Interactive Media Promotes Gary Mills to Vice President of Business Alliances.

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 9, 2000

Cox Interactive Media (CIMedia) announced today that Gary R. Mills has been promoted to vice president of business alliances. The announcement was made by Scott Whiteside, vice president and chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

In his new position, Mills will assume overall responsibility for managing CIMedia's most important partner relationships, including its media partners.

"We will continue to rely on him as we build and maintain strong strategic alliances with an increasing number of respected, top-tier business partners, including the Cox media properties, which have supported us so strongly."

Mills joined CIMedia as senior business manager, and most recently served as group vice president, studio management. With a history of service to Cox Enterprises Cox Enterprises is the successor to the publishing company founded in Dayton, Ohio, by James Middleton Cox, who began with the Dayton Daily News. The company is private, 98% controlled by the octogenarian daughter of Cox, Anne Cox Chambers, and the two children of her late , he was the controller for Cox Radio's Miami stations and worked at the Cox Communications' Pensacola, Fla. cable television system, first as regional business manager and later as controller.
