Cox Interactive Media Names New Site Manager of Pittsburgh Studio.


PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 8, 1998--Cox Interactive Media (CIM (1) (Computer-Integrated Manufacturing) Integrating office/accounting functions with automated factory systems. Point of sale, billing, machine tool scheduling and supply ordering are part of CIM. ), the largest provider and operator of local content web sites of the Internet, has named Linda Napolitano Hansen city site development manager of its Pittsburgh Interactive Studio. Launched in October 1997, the studio produces the Web site, RealPittsburgh.com (www.realpittsburgh.com). The site provides timely news, weather, sports and entertainment with a local focus. It obtains daily news from WPXI-TV Channel 11, owned by sister company, Cox Broadcasting.

Hansen, a Pittsburgh native, leads the Pittsburgh studio in the daily production of RealPittsburgh.com. Hansen will be responsible for day-to-day operations and developing strong relationships with local corporations and industries, with the goal of making RealPittsburgh.com Pittsburgh's number one Internet source for Pittsburgh news.
