Cox's broadband network allows much more data to be transferred per second than a telephone line, minimizing the time it traditionally takes to access web sites and download and transfer files. Cox@Home Network will transmit data at up to hundreds of times faster than a typical analog telephone modem, making access to the Internet virtually "instant" and allowing users to experience video and graphically intense material that is too cumbersome via telephone modems. Cox@Home Network users can stay connected to the service 24 hours a day and enjoy real-time delivery of news and information from the world and their local communities.
