Cox Communications Completes Sale of Central Ohio Cable Television System to FrontierVision.ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 23, 1997--Cox Communications, Inc., today completed the sale of its Central Ohio cable television operation to FrontierVision Partners, L.P. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Central Ohio system, which serves approximately 85,000 customers in and around Newark, New Philadelphia New Philadelphia, city (1990 pop. 15,698), seat of Tuscarawas co., E Ohio, on the Tuscarawas River, in a coal and clay area; founded 1804, inc. 1833.
