Cowles Magazines announces top management changes.


STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 27, 1995--Nino Tarantino, 35, has been named president of Cy DeCosse Inc. (CDI CDI compact disc interactive: a system for storing a mix of software, data, audio, and compressed video for interactive use under processor control ), the "how-to" books division of Cowles Magazines, Inc. (CMI (Computer-Managed Instruction) Using computers to organize and manage an instructional program for students. It helps create test materials, tracks the results and monitors student progress. ), in addition to his current titles of chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Tarantino, who has an extensive marketing and administrative background, will be responsible for the day to day operations of CDI, and will be a part of the overall management team of CMI. Previously he had been executive vice president, marketing operations and finance at CDI.

In his new position, Maus will continue to pursue international opportunities and work on selected custom publishing projects for the company.
