IF you thought last week's X Factor result was bad, Sunday's was an absolute scandal.

Simon Cowell Simon Cowell (born 7 October, 1959) is a British artist and repertoire ("A&R") executive for Sony BMG in the United Kingdom and a television producer, more commonly known as a judge on television programmes such as Pop Idol, The X Factor, American Idol  has been telling Louis Walsh Louis Walsh (born August 5, 1952 in Kiltimagh, County Mayo, Ireland) is a manager in the music industry, and a judge on the ITV1 show The X Factor, which made him famous as a television personality rather than a manager.  for weeks that it's a singing contest, yet for the last two weeks he has refused to vote off the worst singers.

Meanwhile Lucie, a strong contender, knew that she would be voted off which is why she broke down in tears. Cowell also knew the twins posed no threat to his own acts.

The only message Simon Cowell understands is a commercial one, so if viewing figures for X Factor plummet then he might get it.

Cowell has previously said that if John and Edward were to win he would leave the country. Well, do us all a favour and please leave!

JOHN and Edward need to make the most of their fleeting taste of fame while it lasts. Let's face it, even if by some miracle they win X Factor, they're going to be a Leon Jackson rather than a Leona Lewis Leona Louise Lewis (born 3 April 1985) is an English singer-songwriter who was the winner of the third series of the popular television talent show The X Factor.

Her debut single, "A Moment like This", was released on 20 December 2006.
.

After the guaranteed Christmas No.1, which could be sung by a performing seal, they'll disappear back to obscurity.

They have novelty-value in a line-up of duller than usual finalists, but there's no chance of them becoming stars. Jobs at Butlins await.

SUNDAY'S X Factor has to be the biggest farce since the show began. The real reason Simon put it to the public vote is that Lucie was too much competition for his boys.

I and so many others are getting rather disillusioned dis·il·lu·sion

AFTER watching X Factor on Sunday I am absolutely disgusted. I always thought Simon Cowell had guts but his complete turnaround in putting the twins through again was utterly hypocritical hyp·o·crit·i·cal

I think the only reason he did it is to keep the adverse publicity going. I can never see Simon in the same light again.

SIMON Cowell has lost credibility. By refusing to vote off Jedward he did not display a sense of fair play. He needs to be made aware that the public are not fools.

Fergus Madden, Prestatyn, Denbighs

I DON'T dislike the twins John and Edward's performances any more simply because while they're in it I don't watch X Factor.

Shame, but for Louis to bring them into the final is ridiculous. Lucie and Rachel were far better singers.

The BIG issue

X FACTOR twins John and Edward Grimes Grimes is a surname, that is believed to be of a Scandinavian decent and may refer to
  • Aoibhinn Grimes
  • Ashley Grimes
  • Barbara Grimes, a Chicago murder victim
  • Burleigh Grimes (1893–1985), US baseball player
  • Camryn Grimes
  • Charles Grimes
have got through to the final seven after a sing-off with Lucie Jones. Simon Cowell chose to save them by putting it to the public vote. But you think it's disgraceful that talented contestants have gone home instead...
