Brent M. Cook, formerly Covol's chief financial officer, was named president and chief executive officer by the board. The board also announced that Russ Madsen will serve as the interim chairman of the board until a shareholder vote can be held. Cook is a CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism.
