HealthCentral, a provider-sponsored health plan operating in central Pennsylvania, has announced its intention to wind down its operations. HealthCentral has approximately 40,000 fully insured commercial members, the majority of whom are in employer groups which will receive new business quotes from HealthAmerica. Terms of the marketing agreement were not disclosed.
