Covenant Hospice is deploying Recovery Manager to speed time to recovery on mission-critical computers that have high availability Also called "RAS" (reliability, availability, serviceability) or "fault resilient," it refers to a multiprocessing system that can quickly recover from a failure. Factors influencing the purchase were the proactive nature and transparent operation of Recovery Manager and Defrag Manager to the end-users. "If you're in an environment where all you're doing is putting out fires, rebuilding servers or reactively responding to user issues, then you're never going to have time to invest in areas that benefit the company long term," Touzet said.
