Covansys Wins State of Indiana Contract for Child Support Enforcement System; Contract Valued At More Than $22 Million.

) has awarded them a contract to maintain and enhance the Indiana Support Enforcement Tracking System (ISETS ISETS Indiana Support Enforcement Tracking System ). ISETS is Indiana's statewide child support information and disbursement DISBURSEMENT. Literally, to take money out of a purse. ISETS was developed to meet federal and state regulations and received federal certification in July of 2000. The contract awarded to Covansys is valued at approximately $22 million.

"ISETS is an invaluable tool for managers that helps custodial parents and children receive the financial support that is due them. Since 1995, annual child support collections have increased from $177 million to more than $350 million. Indiana has a great ratio of return on its efforts, receiving $5.45 for every dollar expended in administration," said James M. Hmurovich, director of the Division of Family and Children for FSSA. Hmurovich added, "Government, no matter how well intentioned, cannot and should not attempt such important initiatives on its own. Partnerships with businesses that support our mission are critical to our success."
