Cousins Properties Files Form 10-K.

ATLANTA -- Cousins Properties Incorporated (NYSE:CUZ) announced today that it filed its 2004 Annual Report on Form 10-K on March 23, 2005. Last week, Cousins filed for a fifteen-day extension of the Form 10-K filing deadline of March 16, 2005, in order to allow additional time to review its accounting treatment for operating leases, including accounting for rent holidays and landlord/tenant incentives, in light of a February 7, 2005, letter from the Chief Accountant of the SEC to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and also to review its accounting for certain stock options. Cousins and its auditors have completed their review of these issues and have determined that no adjustments were required to any previously reported financial information.
