MIAMI BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 22, 2000

Courtney & Watson Advertising, one of South Florida's fastest growing and most distinctive advertising agencies, has merged with Rampage Interactive, an innovative new media marketing firm previously affiliated with the agency. The combined agency will be called Courtney & Watson/Rampage (CW/R).

 De Armas will be the CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Courtney & Watson co-founder Cliff Courtney will serve as executive vice president and chief creative officer while co-founder Steve Watson will be executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

De Armas joined Rampage Interactive when the firm was launched in 1999 and built the company into one of the region's most sought after Internet design firms. Previously, she headed up a private equity firm established to provide early stage financing for start-up companies.

She brings over 15 years of top industry experience in the packaged goods sector in a variety of disciplines: marketing, corporate strategy, brand equity valuation and brand equity management, and senior operations management experience. Her most recent position in this area was as President and General Manager of the Refrigerated re·frig·er·ate
